  Hyatt Regency 

 What to expect: Hyatt Regency Dallas is a convention hotel located in the West End District. The property is connected to Reunion Tower, a 50-story building famous for its lit geodesic dome. Hyatt’s signature glass elevators provide views of the light-filled atrium, as well as a 20-foot stone waterfall fountain at the lobby entrance. The property draws many business travelers and, of course, convention attendees.
 

Amenity highlights: The hotel offers a fitness center with cardio and strength-building equipment, and free weights. The fitness center also features a remote-control cardio theater, which gives users a choice of six different TVs or two compact CD players. Meeting space totals 160,000 square feet, and can accommodate convention and tradeshow events.

Built by a beer baron, this historic hotel is 5 blocks from the convention center and 6 blocks from the Dallas Museum of Art.

Guestrooms are decorated with European-style furnishings and custom designed fabrics. Marble bathrooms have deep tubs.
